Traditionally made
Marne mustard was created in 1895, when the mustard was still grown in the nearby fields and processed traditionally. Now, more than 125 years later, we still make mustard in the traditional way, of course combined with today's techniques.
Taste
Marne mustard already has more than 125 recipes, many of which are actively in use. This way we not only enrich the meal directly in your kitchen with our delicious taste from the Marne jar. We also do this indirectly because mustard is the basis of many sauces, soups and dressings.
People & Environment
At Marne Mosterd we partly work with people who are at a distance from the labor market. We also try to support local initiatives. In addition to people, the environment has now also become an important factor. We are busy making our building and production process more sustainable.

How it started...
It started more than a century ago in the village of Molenrij near Kloosterburen, where three gentlemen decided to give the local economy a boost by setting up a mustard factory.
