General

De Marne's Fabrieken BV (De Marne) considers the protection of personal privacy to be of great importance. Personal data is treated and secured with the utmost care.

Personal data is all data that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a specific person. You are not obliged to provide De Marne with the personal data we request, but if you choose not to provide it, we may not be able to show you the products and services we have to offer you, or not be able to do so properly. We would like to inform you well about our new products and services, but in those cases we will ask for your permission.

De Marne can collect personal data from various information sources, namely:

• Personal data that you provide to us directly;
• Personal information we collect automatically
• Personal data we collect from other information sources

When you visit our websites, characteristics of your requests may be kept in log files on our servers. This data is kept for a limited period solely for the purpose of statistical analyses. The data you provide via forms will be kept for the strictly necessary purpose and will not be used without permission to send you offers or other messages. Websites are set up according to the principles of 'privacy by design' and 'privacy by default'.

Data can be stored for every internet page you visit, for example via Google Analytics. Data stored includes URL, IP, time of day, user agent, browser type, screen size. We do not check who uses which IP number at what time and we do not trace this data back to your person.

Cookies

The De Marne websites use so-called 'cookies' (a cookie is a small file that is sent by an internet server and that is installed on the hard drive of your computer. This file keeps track of the visited website and contains a number of data about this visit). Cookies are mainly used to remember certain settings for a subsequent website visit, or to transfer data necessary for the functioning of our websites from one page to another. Cookies are not used on De Marne websites to store name, address, zip code, place of residence, telephone number or e-mail address. Google Analytics

The De Marne websites may use Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to help De Marne analyze how users use the site. Google uses this information to keep track of how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to offer other services relating to website activity and internet usage. De Marne has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.

Provision to third parties

De Marne may use the services of third parties to process your data in accordance with this Privacy Statement. These third parties act as processors for De Marne, whereby De Marne ensures that these parties provide sufficient guarantees with regard to the technical and organizational security measures. Third parties that act as processors for De Marne have entered into a processing agreement with De Marne, which states, among other things, that they will only process personal data on behalf of De Marne.

De Marne only provides personal data to third parties with your prior consent, or if De Marne is obliged to do so based on laws and regulations.

Transfer outside Europe

Your personal data will only be stored or processed by De Marne or third parties engaged by De Marne outside the European Economic Area (hereinafter: EEA) if this is in accordance with the applicable regulations for the transfer of personal data to countries outside the EEA.

Retention periods

Personal data may not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose and legal provisions for which De Marne has collected the data.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed and to request De Marne to provide access to your personal data and to correct and/or supplement them. You also have the right under certain circumstances to data portability, to be forgotten, to limited processing of your personal data and the right to object. You also have the right to withdraw your consent. You also have the right to file a complaint with a Supervisory Authority about the way we process your personal data.

You can submit such a request by email at info@marnemosterd.nl If you are under 16 years of age, such requests must be made by the legal representative. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We recommend that legal representatives be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us at info@marnemosterd.nl we will then delete this information as quickly as possible.

You can object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes and/or the (further) receipt of (certain) marketing information at any time by sending this request in writing to:

You can also send your request by email to info@marnemosterd.nl We will then not send you (further) marketing information. An unsubscribe option is also included in the emails that we send you via the email service, as well as in other marketing information sent by us. If you use this, you will no longer receive such messages. You cannot unsubscribe from information messages. Please note that your change will be processed as soon as possible; De Marne cannot rule out that your request for change will intersect with an expression that has already been sent, but will do its utmost to prevent this.
