Green beans in spicy mustard sauce

Preparation method

Cook the green beans for 6-8 minutes.
Place all ingredients except salt and pepper in the blender. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste. It may be that the sauce does not quite resemble a sauce yet, so add a dash of water and mix everything again. Enjoy!

Ingredients

(for 4 persons)

  • 600 gr green beans
  • 5 tbsp coarse spicy mustard from Marne
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 150 milliliters of vinegar of your choice (for example balsamic or white wine vinegar)
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 30 g cane sugar in cubes
  • Salt and pepper
  • For real spicy lovers, one teaspoon of dried chilli chips
  • Add a dash of water if the sauce thickens too much.
