Meatballs with mustard
Preparation method
Mix the minced meat with the egg, pepper, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Make balls the size of a bitterbal and roll in the flour. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the balls until brown on all sides. Deglaze with the wine and stock and let the meatballs simmer for about 10 minutes until done.
Ingredients
(for 12 balls):
- 200 gr half and half chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 red pepper, chopped
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 200 ml meat stock
