- Marne Honey Mustard Sauce
Preparation method
You can use different types of tomatoes for this recipe. With this dish, three kinds of tomato salads are made, which are again placed on baguette smeared with all kinds of flavors. This gives you a multitude of flavors and a nice looking dish, with which you can endlessly vary and experiment. Halve the tomatoes and cut out the seeds. Cut the tomato into small equal pieces of about 1 by 1 cm and put them in a bowl. Bigger is allowed, but then the tomato falls off the bun more easily … If you use mini tomatoes, half or quarter tomatoes are also very nice. Add a pinch of Italian garden herbs and a generous amount of olive oil. The salad can safely be “wet”. When the sandwiches are placed, the moisture partly absorbs into the baguette. Divide the contents into three bowls. Cut the ham slice into small strips. Add it to the first bowl and gently stir the ingredients. Cut the shallot in half and chop the halves into thin rings. Add it in the second bowl and stir these ingredients carefully as well. Peel the garlic clove and chop it into thin strips. Add it to the third bowl and gently stir the ingredients again. Let the salads rest for a while and slice the baguette. Grill the baguette slices slightly crispy and let them cool briefly, so that the heat is off. Spread the grilled slices with the different Marne Mustard Sauces and top them with the different tomato salads.
